Using the results of your test, you’ll gain access to detailed information about your family tree. The information you’ll find within your personal results can be shared with your family and friends, and you can even use it to search for relatives and identify your roots.
What is MedBetterDNA?
MedBetterDNA is the leading companion app for the AncestryDNA product. This is an extended version of the browser-based version that gives you more control over the filtering and viewing of your results.
Enhance DNA match experience
Enhance your experience by displaying the full-length Notes on the DNA Results page.
Include up to 99 lines of entry notes on the DNA results summary.
Display the most relevant notes for each match.
Add up to 100 filters for each note, with a limit of up to 100 characters long for filters.
Use hashtags to specify that you want to display only those matches that contain the word you are searching for.
If you want to be able to only see results for which there are Notes with your specific hashtag, you can turn the "show only with Notes hashtags" setting on.
Filters can be turned on or off through the Configure page of the MedBetterDNA Settings menu or through the options menu of the main browser.
